Ethical Practice in Somatic Sex Education

Professional training in Somatic Sex Education means that practitioners are taught to practice the profession with honesty, integrity, and competence. Our primary commitment is to the health, well-being, and safety of our clients.

Somatic Sex Education is a safe way for people to explore and heal their sexuality, because we are ethical practitioners who work within clear boundaries and roles.

My role as a Somatic Sex Educator Student Practitioner is centered on experiential learning, guiding you to connect with your body and explore its sensations, pleasures, and boundaries.

Communication Between Sessions

In order to maintain the quality and focus of our time together, I do not offer extended email correspondence or coaching between sessions. If you have questions, insights, or topics you'd like to explore more deeply, we’ll hold them for our next session.

Please note that I do not communicate through social media or informal platforms in relation to our work. This helps protect the sacredness and clarity of our container.

Confidentiality and Privacy

All sessions are conducted with respect, presence, and confidentiality. Any personal information you share will remain private and protected, unless disclosure is required by law for your safety or the safety of others.

Scope of Practice

My offerings are grounded in body-based learning, somatic education, and experiential practices. A list of some of the offerings available is listed on my website and can be see here. This work supports greater awareness, pleasure, embodiment, and connection. It is not psychotherapy, medical care, or a substitute for professional mental health services.

If at any point it becomes clear that other forms of support are needed, I will offer the appropriate referral.

Code of Conduct and Boundaries

This work is rooted in mutual respect, consent, and clear boundaries. Any form of inappropriate behavior, harassment, or disregard for established agreements will result in immediate termination of the session, with no refund or future work possible.

I remain fully clothed during all sessions. Any touch is strictly one-way, from practitioner to client, when relevant and always within pre-agreed boundaries. Touch is used solely for educational or healing purposes, never for gratification. Violation of this boundary will result in immediate termination of services.

This work is not relational, romantic, or reciprocal. My role is to guide and support your personal process—not to participate in it.

Health and Safety

Please share any physical, emotional, or mental health conditions that might impact our work together. This helps me create a safe, attuned space for your experience.

I am committed to ongoing reflection and repair when needed. I welcome feedback and take any concerns seriously.

There is a clear process in place for addressing conflict or harm, which includes opportunities for open dialogue, supported resolution, and if necessary, peer support from fellow Somatic Sex Educators. or other support systems we identify together. You do not have to navigate anything alone.

My intention is always to approach conflict with care, curiosity, and a willingness to honour accountability. Together, we can create a space that supports safety, integrity, and mutual growth.
