About Me

I’m a queer, cis, white femme (she/her/they/them)—a lover of beauty, a feeler, and someone who believes in the quiet power of presence. I feel most at home by the ocean, among the trees, or with my hands in the earth—places where my heart feels open and at ease. I find joy in cooking colourful meals, dancing barefoot in my kitchen, harvesting food I’ve grown, making art, and savouring the sensuality woven into everyday life. I’ve always been curious about the body, about intimacy, about what it means to live fully and feel deeply. In university, I was pulled between pursuing science and art— ultimately earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, but I was constantly weaving in courses on psychology, sexuality, and visual art. Even then, I was drawn to the places where health, identity, and expression meet. My path into this work has been shaped by my own healing. As a survivor of sexual violence, I’ve sought many ways to come back to myself. Somatic practices—especially Somatic Sex Education—have been a powerful part of that return. They’ve helped me reclaim agency, reconnect with pleasure, and trust the wisdom of my own body. A professor once told me, “Sexuality and identity exist on a spectrum and continuum—throughout our lives, where we land may change.” That truth has stayed with me and continues to shape how I meet others in this work: with tenderness, curiosity, and respect. I’m currently completing my certification through the Institute for the Study of Somatic Sex Education. My approach is trauma-informed, pleasure-forward, and rooted in the belief that embodiment is a birthright—that we are all worthy of care, of joy, and of coming home to ourselves. This work is personal, soulful, and a little sacred. I’m here for the softening, the remembering, the full-bodied yes, and the quiet no. For the moments when we listen closely and feel the truth of being alive.

What Is Somatic Sex Education?

Somatic Sex Education (SSE) is an invitation to learn from and through your body, reconnecting with sensation, pleasure, and self-trust. Rooted in the wisdom of the soma—the lived experience of the body—this work is trauma informed and gently guides you into a deeper exploration of intimacy, connection, and personal expression. Unlike traditional sex education, which often focuses on mechanics and external knowledge, SSE is an immersive, body-led experience, with practices grounded in the science of neuroplasticity and informed by polyvagal theory. It’s a space to rediscover joy, curiosity, and playfulness while untangling cultural conditioning, shame, or past experiences that may have shaped your relationship with pleasure. Here, you are free to explore and define sensuality, intimacy, and embodiment on your own terms. A Personalized, Body-Led Approach Somatic Sex Education is not about following a formula or reaching a specific goal—it’s about listening to your body, honoring what feels right, and moving at the pace of your own trust and comfort. Every session is shaped by your unique needs, creating a space where you can feel safe, supported, and fully present in your journey of self-discovery.

What To Expect

Each session offers a space for you to slow down, listen inward, and explore your body, boundaries, desires, and aliveness at your own pace. This is a client-led experience: nothing happens that you don’t actively choose. Your comfort, agency, and consent are central. Depending on your intentions, sessions may include varying combinations of foundational themes and incorporate conversation, breathwork, movement, and touch. Sessions Include: 1. Check In: Each session begins with a brief check in offering you the chance to arrive in the space and express any desires, desires, needs or wants for that day. 2. Somatic Work: At the core of somatic sex education is this work of being present in and with the body, Depending on your intentions this portion of the work may look like many different things but is an opportunity for you to explore, play and be curious about what is supportive to your body in that moment. 3. Savouring and Integration: Each session includes time for savouring and reflection offering a chance to integrate your experience and insights into your body as well as support you in transitioning back into daily life.

Frequently Asked Questions and Therapeutic Relationship Agreements

One of the most common questions I receive is: “Is Somatic Sex Education sex work?” The short answer is no.

My SSE practice only includes one way touch when touch in included in sessions as a practitioner I always remain clothed. (See Terms and Agreements

Somatic Sex Education is deeply personal and can be profoundly intimate, but it is grounded in professional ethics and clear boundaries. As a practitioner in training, and a member of the Somatic Sex Educators Association (SSEA) I follow the ethical guidelines set by the Association, alongside my own clearly defined scope of practice.

While physical touch or body-based work may be an option that some clients choose to explore, it is never required and always guided by you each step of the way. Each session is guided by your learning goals, curiosity, and comfort, and always rooted in consent.

Before beginning any work together, I ask all clients to complete an intake form and sign a client agreement. These help establish clarity and shared understanding from the start.

You can find more detailed information—including answers to common questions and a breakdown of the agreements included in my consent form—by visiting my Terms and Conditions for Therapeutic Relationship.
